BIWWEC is a Sarawak’s international congregation of water & wastewater experts, and is run biennially by the Malaysia Water Association (MWA) Sarawak Branch.
With the theme “Regional Partnerships for a Climate-Ready Water Future”, BIWWEC 2026 emphasises the power of collaboration across borders and sectors to tackle pressing water challenges in an era of climate uncertainty. The conference will serve as a dynamic platform to foster joint strategies, share innovations, and strengthen partnerships that advance water security and resilience for communities across Borneo and the wider ASEAN region.
